one month has passed since my last post.
i don't feel like i have a whole lot to offer right now. i went with mary and dan to check out our future home. i'm ready. i think living in st. louis is going to be good. the time for change is here. i got to lead worship at 908. hooray for the girl band! i forgot how much i missed that part of ministry. hopefully i can find an outlet for that in st. louis. the weather here had been really nice for awhile. liz and i are attempting to do austin-y things. two weeks ago, we went to the botanical gardens for their spring festival. it was a beautiful day. then elizabeth and i had people over for burgers by the pool. then we ended the night dancing. it was one of the best days ever. seriously. last week wasn't too shabby either. lots of april birthdays mean lots of celebrating. good times. i miss late night TC runs. and this weekend was easter (cold and rainy), but He is Risen! Alleluia!
i still haven't retaken my tests yet. i really need to get on that. i'm waiting to hear from sem about financial aid and housing. that will be one less thing to worry about soon enough. i got offered a summer job at camp. number five folks. hopefully i'll be a little better at omega coordinating this time around. elizabeth and i have been thinking about some mischief we can get into in the coming weeks. i really really really hope it works out. i've been spending a lot of time with friends. i want to cherish every story over a cup of coffee, every tale of the day with a bite to eat for dinner, every venting session that comes with a visit to my secret office. because...
one month 'til i throw the deuce to austin.
